This picture is exactly why we advocate educating children and their parents on the do’s and don’ts of kids around dogs. Small children are at face level with a lot of dogs. When we are out in public with our children and there are dogs present, even thought they are on leashes, we need to pay attention to their body language. Dogs give warnings. It is true, they do not want to bite. Their warnings come in body language and in vocal growls. Pay attention folks. Most bites are preventable.
